Introducing OurLearningFolio

Home schooling your children can be one of the most rewarding journeys of your life!  However, gathering the pieces of all the great things you do along the way can become challenging.  Likewise, if you should choose to send your child to high school or eventually college, you’ll want to make the enrollment process easier by having printable, organized summaries and a compelling showcase portfolio of all the good things you and your child/learner have accomplished.

Enter OurLearningFolio.

OurLearningFolio is a web-based organizational tool that helps you and your family stay organized and quickly generates summaries of what you’ve collected along the way. We are NOT a curriculum and we do NOT dictate one way to homeschool. We respect your family’s personal style and philosophy of homeschooling. By using OurLearningFolio, you will be able to record your family’s personal homeschool journey, with the added benefit of gaining confidence and peace of mind along the way.

Our philosophy is grounded in our experience that education should be learner-centered and hands on.  The tool itself is built on a secure platform that’s been used by innovative alternative educators in 21 states for the last five years.

What do I need to run OurLearningFolio?

All you need to access OurLearningFolio is an internet connected computer or other device that runs any one of the following internet browsers:

• Safari 5+
• Internet Explorer 7+
• Firefox 3.6+
• Chrome 7+

How do I signup?

You can create an OurLearningFolio account by visiting the Signup Now page

How much does OurLearningFolio cost?

$10 per month for access, secure private storage and all upgrades to OurLearningFolio for up to three child/learners. $1/ month more per month for every child/learner thereafter.

What happens to my stuff if I cancel?

If you should decide to cancel, you are able to save copies of everything you’ve added in OurLearningFolio to your computer via your internet browser’s print option. Likewise, you can download any of the summaries from OurLearningFolio to your personal computer in the PDF or Excel format and view them independently of OurLearningFolio.

If you do cancel, as a courtesy, we will not delete your family data for at least 3 months in case you decide to renew your membership.

What support is available to help me get started?

Built into OurLearningFolio is an extremely useful Help Center that includes instructions and how to’s as well as ideas and other resources.  In addition to this, starting in January, OurLearningFolio will host bi-monthly online webinars that cost $30/ session. These conversations will be facilitated by our team and allow you  direct support to get your most burning questions answered.
